Steelwire conveyor belts
The belt is designed to go over cylindrical rollers, not
cambered. Running-in cold belt: min 4-5 hours successively raising
the tensile stress. Running-in during hot operation: min 8-10 hours
successively raising the temperature. No goods are to be loaded
until running in is completed. If guard rails/guard bars are to be
used, they should be positioned at the points where the belt is
subject to its lowest tensile stress.
The recommended MAXIMUM speed for wire conveyor belt is 0.5 m/sec.
Joining of belts with welded edges: welding of the crossbars, used
as joining wire, must be performed when the belt is tensioned in
operating mode. Joining of belts with flanged edges: there must be
greatly increased clearance between the flanged crossbar, used as
joining wire, and the next crossbar.
In order to offer you the correct solution, we need to know the
